Yamaha’s site has a number of free paper craft instructions that can be downloaded in pdf format. You can print out the models onto paper and cut and glue to build the model in 3D. This is the best place to get 3D motorcycle paper crarts.

Ron Mueck Photo Realistic Sculptures

Ron Mueok Life Like Sculptures

Ron Mueck(1958- ), is an Australian photo realistic artist whose company is based in London. Born to parents who were toy makers, his early career was a model maker and puppteer for children’s television and films.

After establishing his company in London, he made models to be photographed for advertisements. In the early 90s, Mueck commissioned to make something highly realistic. His new models were made from Fiberglass resin, after he found out that this was the ideal material to be used for his realistic models.

The picture aboves shows his sculpture ‘Boy’ which was a feature in the Millennium Dome (a large dome shaped building in London) and later exhibited in the Venice Bienalle(a major contemporary art exhibition that takes place in odd years). 4 links are 2 more pics after the jump.

It is truly amazing how he managed to paint on such a micro scale as well as capturing the facial expressions so clearly. This work has also entered it into the Guiness World Record.
