Modified Transformers Optimus Prime trailer truck that even has an Autobot filled design bedsheet and a helmet of Optimus Prime on its seat. Did I forgot to mention its steering wheel is even custom made with a centric design logo of the Autobots? Optimus Prime fans would definitely wet their pants when they see this.

Officially in the Guinness World Record for lowest street legal car, the Flatmobile stands at just 19 inch or 48 cm tall. You can check the build progress of the FlatMoble at the FlatMobile website. The car is rear mounted with a 875cc engine for propulsion. Obviously inspired from Batmobile, Perry Watkins from England is the proud owner of the FlatMobile.

Team pzkpfw built this human powered Panzer Kampwagen III in 11 days that was intended to crash the party at the 2nd annual Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby. Currently the DIY tank is installed as public art in Philadelphia.

An exhibit display of the actual BatMobile and motorcycle used in The Dark Knight (coming to cinemas on 17th July and also known as Batman Begins 2) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel earlier this month. People all around town made a pit stop to look at the real vehicles that the Dark Knight of Gotham used.

BMW unveiled the GINA Light Visionary Model concept car on June 10, 2008 and shows the direction of how BMW’s design may take. The concept car uses fabric as the skin over a wire frame and carbon fiber and allows drivers to change the shape of the car at will.

The flexibility of car can be seen when the car door or bonnet opens and it is also much lighter as it is made out of light weight materials. The BMW Gina Visionary Model concept car may or may not find its way into production but it may be the precursor of new material alternatives that are lighter and more fluid.

In the video, Chris Bangle gives us a first impression of the ideas behind the process of sculpturing an experimental study.

Apparently this talented guy in Lithuania turned the initial form of a junker Mercedes CL into a stylish end product that looked like a cross between a Ferrari and a Ssang Yong. The modification involved incredible amount of effort using lots of polyurethane foam to shape its body equipped with monster looking thirty inch rims. The masterpiece was on display for the public and I wonder if it runs as good as it looks.

When the hail storm falls, the sight is not pretty especially when the cars are left in the open field for the hail to shatter. Hail stones consists of large balls of irregular lumps of ice and some storms are so deadly they actually killed people.

This was an unexpected happening in Manhattan where no vehicle were spared at the Briggs Auto Plaza and in the airport parking lot. Some of the damages were so bad to the extent that the vehicles could not be driven.

The Houston Art Car Parade 2008 is a major event that drew 284 entries and about 200,000 spectators held on May 10. A yearly event which is the first and largest art car parade in the world has been a Houston tradition since 1988. The entries include cars bicycles, motorcycles, roller skaters and many other motorized and human-powered vehicles decorated in various themes.

These flamboyant designed Japanese trucks are called Dekotara which is a short abbreviation for Decoration Trucks (Deko-tara). Clad with excessive glowing lights, these trucks garners much attention on the road. These mean looking machines are usually for display on special events where each Dekotara owner would showcase their masterpiece.

Here are two fantastic Ford FA commercials that features the same animated furry monster in different scenario settings. Great fluid animation with a weird twist that exaggeratively show how spacious the Ford KA is. It gets even better in the sequel with the baby furry monster getting really nasty on the people. One of the best automobile commercials in my opinion.

Birthday boy blew his day when he crashed a month old Ferrari Spyder that his pal hired as a birthday treat for him. They were driving 85 mph on an abandoned runway at Blackbushe Airport, UK when it smashed into an earth bank. Above shows how it should like before the crash. 300,000 USD supercar gone to waste in just a flip and I wonder who’s going to pay for the damages.
