The Spice Girls perform at the annual British charity appeal organised by the BBC in Los Angeles on 16th November 2007. The song performed is their new single called ‘Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). It’s great to see the Spice Girls back in action and do they look better than ever.

In a violent confrontation with Japanese fishermen, TV star Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere was among the anti cruelty campaigners involved in trying to disrupt the annual dolphin slaughter. They surf and tried to save the dolphins but was intercepted by a fishing boat which the fishermen block their way and even stuck out a boat hook. |

After 10 minutes or so, the surfers were forced to return to the beach since they can’t do anything about it. More on the annual dolphin massacre can be found here.

Interesting Top 10 list by Campus Squeeze about celebrity weight losses. Celebrities in the list included Hillary Duff, Courtney Love, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Simmons, Missy Elliot, Jared Fogle, Nicole Ritchie, Al Roker, Star Jones and Kirstie Alley. Losing weight do shed some positiveness in life but there are those that just goes beyond the brink of health. As for Hillary Duff which starts off the list, I still prefer her ‘girl next door look’ before she went on her diet though.

The World Team Tennis League photos of Maria Sharapova who returns to the Newport Beach Breakers playing against the New York Sportimes on July 25. The Breakers include other marquee such stars as Pete Sampras, Anna Kournikova and Venus Williams. They played at the brand new Breakers Stadium at Newport Beach Country Club. Avril Lavigne is being sued by 70s band The Rubinoos over allegations that her hit single ‘Girlfriend’ was too much of a resemblance to their 1979 track ‘I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend’. It goes on a different tune but the chorus sounds too coincidental similar. Avril denied that she had even heard of the song well since it was co-write with producer/remixer Dr. Luke. |
