Someone found a better way of cloning himself. Rather than the biological method, Japanese roboticist Horoshi Ishiguro clones himself android-style. His lifelife mechanical double is called ‘Geminoid HI-1″. The android is constructed using silicone and steel and sometimes replace the roboticist in his meetings and classes.

Vodafone 905SH features a “Cycloid Style” LCD that can rotate 90 degrees to a horizontal position. IT has a large 2.6 inch mobile ASV(Advanced Super View) LCD for vivid and wide angle viewing found in Sharp’s AQUOS line of LCD TVs. Citizen introduced the world’s first commercially available Bluetooth wrist watch called VIRT. Just a month ago, Seiko was showing its Bluetooth watch that is supposed to be available in 2007 but Citizen got to the market first with its VIRT which is on sale starting July 7th in Japan. Only 5,000 pieces are available though. The watch can communicate with your mobile phone and display incoming calls. It can even notify you if you leave your phone behind.

A cool gadget for those mosquito haters out there and has $200 to spare. In a USDA suburban test, the Mosquito Mega Catch captured up to 1200 mosquitoes in a single night and diminished mosquito populations over an entire acre. It is plug and play device and uses scent attraction (resembling breath) generated using a strip of octenol. It can even be programmed to work for 24 hours or just during peak hours such as at night time.

The Mosquito Mega Catch is powered by a AC and the octenol needs to be replaced after three weeks of usage.

LG Electronics has unveiled a new TFT LCD Display that is a mere 1.48 mm thick as shown in the picture. The new display will handle QVGA resolutions. These LCD display would most probably be deployed on applications such as portable gaming machines, pdas, mobile phones and multimedia players.
