This melting building mural is located in Georges V Ave. in Paris France. Trompe-l’oeil is an art technique involving extremely realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects really exist, instead of being just two-dimensional paintings. The Sultan’s Elephant

Sultan Elephant 01

The Sultan’s Elephant is one of the biggest piece of free theater and it stopped the traffic and captivated everyone who saw it. An earlier post, ‘The Giant Girl Doll‘ is a part of the Sultan’s Elephant show as well. The elephant is made mostly of wood and operated by over ten puppeteers using a mixture of hydraulics and motors. Weighing as much as 7 elephants, a replica was built in Nantes France in 2007. A spectacle on a huge scale, this is one of the most stunning shows which is created by the Royal de Luxe - a French mechanical marionette street theater company. Farmer Grows Robots - Paul Merton In China

Farmer Robot 01 Farmer Robot 02

Paul Merton, an English actor in a clip with Emma, his translator as they voyage across the communist state, exploring Chinese culture. Here, he meets a farmer with limited education who ‘grows robots’ who never had any formal training whatsoever. He made these robots from scrap metal and other materials. The worst thing that happened so far with his obsession with robots was that he burned his house down and his wife is quite resentful with his hobby too.
